Decode the Secret Message!
These clues will lead you to 10 letters. Once you have them, unscramble them into two words and get your secret message. The message will help guide you on your travels today.
Find the man who shot the film of Galloping Gertie collapsing. He owned a store in downtown Tacoma. In the second word of the store’s name, use the fourth letter.
Convert the first year that Tacoma won the All American Award into Roman numerals. Use the letter from that date that than comes first in the alphabet.
Find the Tacoman whose fourth album is “On My Way.” Take the age of the musician and then subtract the number of consonants in their name. Take that number and, assuming 1=A, 2=B, etc, use the corresponding letter.
Which GritCity blogger has three eyes? Use the first letter of their last name twice.
A Tacoma novelist wrote a book. A film version of the book was released the year Tacoma won the All American Award for the second time. Use the first letter of the last name of the director of that film.
