Destiny Dinner and Auction
Themes are never far from reach with a nickname like the “City of Destiny.” This October the Tacoma Historical Society will host its 2nd Annual Destiny Dinner & Auction titled “A Streetcar Named Destiny.”
This fundraising event will feature Brian Kamens and Morgan Alexander to speak about how streetcars played an important transportation role in early Tacoma and how maybe – just maybe – they’ll return to us some day in the future.
The auction will include a unique “Star of Destiny” jewelry piece, a driving tour of Tacoma’s former streetcar system, historic photos of Tacoma, and much more.
