Dockyard Derby Dames Return on Saturday
The Dockyard Derby Dames, Tacoma’s flat track roller derby league, are going strong into their 4th season and they will be trying out a mix of two great venues this year. Their first bout is this weekend at Pierce College in Lakewood.
Doors open at 5pm this Saturday, March 27th. The 2009 Champion Femme Fianna will test the mettle of their new recruits in a match up against the always deadly undead – The Trampires. The spirited Marauding Mollys take on the lovely and enticing Hellbound Homewreckers.
Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Part of the proceeds will go to the Emergency Food Network.

Farmers market and roller derby. This is going to be a good weekend in Tacoma.
