Don't Forget - AIDS Walk This Weekend

The 19th annual Pierce County AIDS Walk is this weekend – and rain or shine, hordes of walkers will set out to raise money and awareness for AIDS research and services Saturday morning.

The walk covers a 2.5-mile course through downtown Tacoma, starting and finishing on Broadway between 9th and 11th streets. Walkers will receive t-shirts and breakfast and lunch while they listen to music, collaborate on a memorial art project and support a great cause.

So come on down and walk the walk – or at the very least, drop off a donation and enjoy the crowds. (And come on, it’s not like you have anything better to do – it’s a Husky bye week, after all.)
