El Guadalajara Is Moving... Closer to me!
El Guadalajara, our favorite Mexican restaurant for post bocce margaritas, perfectly cooked carnitas, and general good feelings, is moving. We had previously mentioned that they were probably going to lose their building on Tacoma Avenue in the Stadium District to another restaurant. Well, from what we hear, they’ve struck a deal and are moving into the location where the Calendula Nursery is located on I Street. What does this mean for us? Those margaritas are way too close to my front door now. Mmmm…

So, is it true that the Asado/Masa folks will be moving in to the Stadium District?

They put the building on the market earlier this year so that they could focus on their wholesale business and landscaping. You’ve probably seen their truck around town. They have some big sale signs in their windows now if you’re looking for Christmas gifts.

Noooooooooo!!! Calendula is my favorite nursery – such a great place to buy plants without having to go big boxing at Lowe’s or Home Depot, and close to home. Bummer!!!

Lameness enhanced! The fact that I wont be able to walk to a place to buy air plants is a major bummer. Oh wait, still got the conservatory.
