Election Day - Vote & Follow the Results Here

Today, November 2, 2010, is Election Day all across our nation. If you haven’t cast your ballot already, be sure to visit your polling station to do so. Don’t know how to find your polling station? Visit the Pierce County Auditor’s site here. Feeling a little under-informed about what’s on the ballot? Be sure to check out the County’s Voter’s Pamphlet here. Want to know more about the state-wide ballot items? Visit the Washington Secretary of State elections site here.

If you are uncertain about the importance of voting, let us gently remind you that America currently practices a representative and democratic form of government, requiring citizen participation. Your duty, should you choose to accept, will cost you but 5 minutes alone with a pen and a sheet of paper. They might even give you a sticker.

Derek Young will be following the election results from the County Auditor’s office this evening. Please check back with us here and on our Twitter page as the results come in.

There could be some very close races this time around…

5 minutes??? Me, my two voters guides, and a nice glass of wine, sat down for a good LONG read. Item by item.

I had the hardest time with the judges. Fortunately I have never had to stand in front of one, so I honestly have no clue exactly what qualifications and/or endorsements make one candidate better than the other.

This year’s vote took me longer than any past year has. Anyone else?
