Exit133 Video: Hotel Murano and Costas Varotsos

The Hotel Murano is almost ready to unveil its completed self for Tacoma and the world. We had the privilege to meet with several people behind the transformed hotel. In doing so, we were able to interview Tessa Pappas, the curator for the hotel project, and Costas Varotsos, the Greek artist behind the sculpture in front of the hotel. The challenge for us was taking two the imagery and words of two brilliant storytellers and condensing it down to 4 minutes of film.

And while we did bring Costas to the Helm Gallery opening and Wayzgoose… that’s not on the film.

This has been a fun project.
