Exit133 Video: Tacoma Film Festival Preview
We’re counting down to the 2nd Annual Tacoma Film Festival, which opens this Thursday. We think it’s quite cool. Lots of movies (70+), lots of venues, lots of filmmakers coming to town…
Watch for our “Best of the Fest,” which will be published on The B Side tomorrow. A team of writers have spent countless hours helping us preview this year’s slate of films. They’ve winnowed 70 films down to a few choice Top Picks, so check out The B Side tomorrow for a list of hidden gems you should definitely catch.
If you can’t wait that long, Director Bryan Johnson—who created the short film South 5 for the Grand’s 72 Hour Film Competition in May—helped us get a sneak peek at the sequel, which will be featured on Opening Night of the Film Festival.
With his help, we arranged some secret interviews with a few members of South 5 … Enjoy.
Thanks to Bryan for helping us with the preview.

They expect to be open in the new space on Broadway by the end of January, with the new name Salon Sublime.
Good luck in your new space. It certainly is in a good location by the Tacoma Financial Center.
By the end of January? That’s in 3 days.
