Farmer's Market Reminder

The end farmer’s market season is in sight. Sad! So get out and enjoy them while you can. Support local farmers! Buy local! Grow local!

Today is the 6th Ave market and there is a great band scheduled. Lots of vendors. Stop by on your way home and pick up some goodies! And today they’ll be filming a commercial so all of you attention seekers or wannabe movie stars, get out for your 5 seconds of fame.

Thursday is the downtown market and Daniel Blue’s new band, Motopony, will be playing. We got a chance to listen to their album and we liked it. So… tons of vendors, tons of people, and good music? We’re there.

Even if you’ve never been to a market, go now! The farmers are selling fall’s bounty. Its a chance to look at the person growing your food, face to face. That’s a powerful connection.
