Fife Cuisine of National Caliber
If in the next few months a South Sound eatery is declared to bake one of the nation’s best apple pies, we ought to be the 2010 masters of All-American Food.
First, in June, The Red Hot was declared by Yahoo! Travel to be one of the best hot dog restaurants in the country. Now, Pick-Quick Drive-In in Fife has been named by “USA Today Travel as one of the 51 best burger joints in the nation. Check out the story here.
Congratulations, Pick-Quick. The long lines outside your window day after day are the most apt advertisement, but a nod from USA Today certainly can’t hurt.

Love Pick-Quick burgers. The food and their customer service beats Frisco Freeze every time.

That would be the Fife Drive In. Shut down (became the Costco or a car dealership?) in the 80’, a great loss for drive in lovers those who like a great burger before the movie. A little bit of paradise, to be sure. To me nothing tops the Pick-Quick. Not In-N-Out, not any burger joint in LA. Pick-Quick is the best there is for a real honest burger. Plenty of good eats in Fife without going to the Poodle Dog. I remember a pretty good Indian place there some years ago.

I can vouch for Hudson’s in CDA, ID as well. No fries at Hudson’s but they do make a tasty pie if you have room for desert.

Congratulations Pick Quick! They are my absolute favorite. Their hot dogs are pretty righteous too.
