Nothing creates a vibrant downtown like government offices, the big new tenants in 2010 are the attorney general’s office on the ground floor at Pacific Plaza and the Social Security office at Foremost. Great. Dynamic and exciting.

Seattle takes Russel and 900 jobs from Tacoma.
In return, Tacoma takes 50 SSA jobs from Seattle.
Net is -850.
Not so hot, but admittedly better than nothing and an empty building.
