Free Adult Kickball Tournament on Saturday!
Do you remember kickball? Are you interested in getting outside on Saturday and playing … just like those days in elementary school when you dominated the baseball diamond? If so, Comeback Sports is hosting a free kickball tournament.
Comeback Sports was started by a group of local UPS graduates who are committed to providing fun and exciting sports leagues for adults all over Tacoma. They hope to get adults more active and also provide a fun venue for people to socialize, network, and meet new people from around the area. Currently, they host kickball leagues every Wednesday and Flag Football leagues on Sundays.
The kickball event on October 3rd is open anyone 21+ who wants to get out, meet some new people, and have fun playing a great game. There will be fun
contests, live music, and prizes provided by our sponsors. Furthermore, after the game teams can enjoy free appetizers and buy 1 pitcher get the 2nd for a dollar at sponsoring bars.
Kickball is a very simple game, featuring coed teams of 10 playing against one another on a softball diamond. Think baseball rules with a touch of soccer. For this tournament they will accept the first 20 teams or 200 people that sign up. The winning team will receive comeback kickball t-shirts along with gift certificates from their sponsor.

Interesting. I live in Seattle and we have Underdog Sports that has many different sports for adults. Comeback has a few, but are there any other organizations that have adult sports?

While Underdog has quite a few sports under its belt, Comeback provides a more unique experience. Having played in both leagues, I would recommend Comeback to everyone! Plus, you can tell that the people who run it really care about all the players and they work hard to provide the most social, welcoming, personal, and not to mention, FUN environment. They even spend time doing the little things like print out team pictures for every player and write each team’s names on balloons at the kickball reception. Too cute. Plus, they’re looking to serve the community, they’ve got their heads on their shoulders, and I know that Comeback Sports will only grown with time. Cannot wait for Dodgeball!

Plus, they play music during the games every week and provide free BBQ’s and sumo suits for fun… and the live band was legit at the kickball tournament. Such a good time, I love what they’re bringing to Tacoma.
