Freighthouse Square Has Legos!
I made my way through Freighthouse Square today while heading back to my car at the park-n-ride. I could see the legos from the down the hall. Flashbacks to childhood rose in my subconscious. Images of lego guns, lego tanks, lego racecars and lego spaceships flashed through my mind. As I walked in I saw one of the Blue Angels – in lego. Sitting at the table was Dan Parker, one of the few professional lego artists in the country. He was focusing on a lego robot that was way too high tech for my retro lego mind.
What is this space all about? Basically it’s a studio for Dan and his co-workers to build professional lego displays for companies, events, and education. At the same time, it’s a public space with table after table of legos ready to be built into something magical. I think we need to back when we have more time. Anybody up for a little lego buildathon?

Mom, do you still have my legos in the attic somewhere?
