From the Ranks of Tacoma's Own Police Department... Hans Mortier (1924-2010)
This is by far the most weird story I have ever posted on Exit133, and I can neither remember nor explain how I came across it…
A young man by the name of Jacob Grobbe escapes capture by the Nazis during WWII, illegally immigrates to the US and becomes a police officer in Tacoma. While here, he takes up bodybuilding and goes on to become one of the biggest wrestling stars of the era, eventually taking on several monikers (including that of Mortier). Mr. Grobbe passed away just over two weeks ago.
His story reads like a Terry Gilliam or Coen brothers movie waiting to happen. Read it here.

good things DO come from illegal immigration. Right on! Hey, how many modern day Jacob Grobbes are we throwing away thanks to the profit driven motives of the NWDC ?
