Getting Around Downtown Survey

Tacoma's Downtown On the Go is looking for a little help conducting a survey

DOTG will be conducting the survey on four days in March to capture a snapshot of travel and spending patterns for visitors and residents of Tacoma's downtown corridor. They want to better understand why residents choose the modes of transportation they do, and how alternatives to personal vehicle use can be provided.

To conduct the survey, DOTG is looking for volunteers to commit to one or more 4 hour shifts from 3 to 7 p.m. on March 5, 8, 12, and/or 15. If you volunteer, they'll set you up at a shopping-centric location downtown, where you will offer a short survey to passersby. Training and treats will be provided prior to your shift.

If you're interested, sign up now with Downtown On The Go.

And speaking of surveys, now they've got us kind of curious... How do you get around when you shop downtown? If it's by car, how could you be persuaded to make a different choice?
