Glass Roots Arts Festival 2008

The third annual Glass Roots Festival Call to Artists is coming up this month. The one day event will showcase regional arts, artists, and artisans – completely free to the artists. This one day event is put on by The Events Committee for Tacoma Arts Community, a grass roots arts group.

This event focuses completely on how the individual artist’s work and how the concept of their art is affected by Tacoma. Glass Roots wants to demonstrate the work of local artists and give them the opportunity to sell their works. Only goods created, designed, recorded, etc. in the region or by someone living in the region are eligible.
