Gleaning Project Needs Help!

Do you or anyone you know want to volunteer on a gleaning project tomorrow morning? (Gleaning is the process of picking fruit that would otherwise go to waste and sending to folks in need.) There is an orchard in the Puyallup area of roughly 100 trees available to pick and 15-20 Americorps volunteers planning to attend. But 100 trees is a lot, so the more hands the better! The trees are mostly early season apples like Gravenstein. The fruit will be collected and distributed to Tacoma food banks via the Emergency Food Network.
