Golden Pacific Railroad Inauguration

While we were wandering the rat rods, hot rods, dragsters, and classic bicycles in downtown Tacoma today, Patrick was hangin’ in the Dome District checking out the inaugural journey of the Golden Pacific Railroad (How did we miss this one?).  The GPRR offers folks the opportunity to ride a classic train, including a steam powered Reading 2100 steam locomotive, between Tacoma and Frederickson.  At $50 a head we’ll consider this a special occasion sort of thing…

    Don’t contact your Congressman/person, because she will tell you that Congress has nothing to do with the Washington State budget. Contact your state representatives.

    the state house is a congress. And the link leads to the correct place and our supporting data – including information on how to determine who your representative is. To be fair, I recall recommending that readers contact Obama with any complaints about the downtown parking situation.
