Graffiti As Art - Banksy Lands in Los Angeles

Several weeks ago a slightly odd discussion concerning graffiti as art circled on the arts listserve with a few comments on Exit133.  In my posting, I mentioned the work of East London based Banksy whose work I looked for while on his home turf.  The mysterious Banksy has come to the United States with a show in Los Angeles.  Ahh… sell out!  Not quite.  His live painted elephant is doing quite a good job of maintaining his bad boy image.  His stencil based paintings always amaze me.
