Grand Cinema Seeks Film Festival Poster Designs

The Grand Cinema is once again looking for creative poster designs for this year’s Tacoma Film Festival poster. The poster contest in past years has turned out some pretty classy designs, and has drawn entries from designers around the world.
The winner of this year’s contest will receive $350, two festival passes, the opportunity to assist in creating some print ads and miscellaneous other uses of the artwork, and of course the honor of seeing that work displayed around Tacoma. All entries will receive two movie passes to the Grand.
The Tacoma Film Festival itself is a celebration of current independent film from around the world, with a special interest in filmmakers from the Pacific Northwest. Last year MovieMaker.com listed it as “one of 25 film festivals worth the entry fee.”
You can see what’s been submitted so far, find design and content requirements, and submit your own design at www.TacomaFilmFestival.com. Entries will be accepted through July 5.
