Grit City Christmas Grits Potluck

As the Holidays draw nigh, we have been reflecting on how warmly our readers have embraced Exit 133. Some have even referred to us as something of a Tacoma institution. Of course, we’re flattered. But we’ll never be as much of an institution as that singular culinary item from which Tacoma draws its nickname – Grits.

So, in humble tribute, we invite you to join us at Suite 133 for an event we hope to host annually – a Christmas Grits Potluck. Bring your most decadent holiday grits to us, and we’ll provide some warm cider, mulled wine and tasty appetizers. Do you have a traditional family Christmas Grits recipe? We’d love to taste it!

And here’s a little incentive: Once all attendees have sampled the various grits offerings, we’ll cast votes to see who’s grits stood above the rest. A fine and secret reward will be offered to the lucky winner… That’s all we’re saying.
