Happening Now: Park(ing) Day 2014

Park(ing) Day 2014 is going on right now. A couple dozen parking spots around downtown Tacoma have been transformed into activated parklets for your enjoyment, so if you have a couple minutes, head out and find one (or a bunch) near you.

There's a lot to see this year... Which was your favorite?

Fulcrum Gallery and Klub Kray Kray have activated some spots up on MLK in the Hilltop. Stop by and enjoy the music.

The Friends of the Prairie Line Trail invite you to come out and learn about the trail, and maybe even get involved...

Stop by the Boe Architects rain garden spot and race your own miniature "boat" through the rain garden for fabulous prizes.

See if you're a winner...

Join the folks from Destiny and Grit for witty banter, and learn about their project at DestinyandGrit.com.

This is just a small sampling of what's out there... what did you see?
