Happy Hour ... at TAM?
Tacoma Art Museum’s Untitled Cafe will have a special happy hour from 5 – 7 every Third Thursday, starting tonight. Happy hour will have drink specials and tasty appetizers like stuffed Portobello mushrooms and bacon-wrapped prawns.
After happy hour, stay for a screening of The Quiltmakers of Gee’s Bend which starts at 6:00. The documentary follows some of the internationally acclaimed Gee’s Bend quilters on a poignant, and sometimes comical bus trip as they travel from Alabama to Milwaukee Art Museum to see their work on view.
Sounds like it’s going to be a good time on the ArtWalk tonight!

This is so exciting. When I bought my house I didn’t know what an active and involved neighborhood I was buying into. Pat came by, knocked on the door, and welcomed me to the neighborhood. I have lived all over, and I truely have never lived in a community with such kind and proactive neighborhood. Meetings, Block Parties- it’s very exciting.
Go Pat! Go Whitman!
