It’s becoming a neighborhood. Buy now!

I used to live at Park Tower, sadly before any of the current establishments were in. That would have been awesome and I may have stayed there. (I lived there briefly just after the fire at what in now the Tap Room’s outdoor area.)

It was pretty cool. I’m really looking forward to the outdoor seating.

It doesn’t quite seem finished yet. Give it another month and the place ought to be pretty amazing.

My brother and I checked it out last night. Very cool place. I can see it getting packed on hot summer nights when the beer garden is all set up.

The Stadium District is going to pick it up a notch.

Parking: The parking around the area is perhaps the most backwards in the whole city.

There are not even two hour times limits in the area. People can just camp for days or weeks right in publicly owned curb parking spaces adjacent to The Hub.

Moving the area from free unlimited parking to free two hour parking would do wonders for the district.

I lived at the Miller Apartments for two years. It’s an old 1909 structure with no parking. In fact, there isn’t any parking to rent nearby either. What would all these folks do with only 2 hour parking?

I think perhaps it does need to be 2 hour parking for folks without zone permits. Make the residents (must prove residency)buy permits for say $100 a year and display those in that permit zone so they can park there.

    @ altered chordle

took sec for it to dawn on me which indicates i’m showing signs of tacomaphilia. you mean i’m being inflammatory just for the sake of it. probably so. but perhaps it takes an inflammation to expose a disease. anyway, i take back that you’re ‘just’ a wanker. sorry for poking so much fun at the hive. one thing that i think is amazing is that none of my useless banter has been deleted or refused publishing, i think you’re going to be ok tacoma.
