Help Bring Smiles to Tacoma
Tom’s of Maine, the consumer products company, is offering up $100,000 for mobile dental clinics around the country. The finalists have been named and Tacoma’s Metropolitan Development Council is on the list. Now it’s all up for a public vote.
MDC’s program would use the funding to send its mobile dental team to rural and urban areas of Pierce County to provide very urgent and emergency dental care for children and adults who are experiencing homelessness and are uninsured.
Of the ten finalists, MDC is the only organization in Tacoma and the only one in the Pacific Northwest.
You can (and should) vote every day this month.
