Help Kids Think Green through Art

This year start the celebrations for Earth Day early with art!

The City of Tacoma’s EnviroChallenger and EnviroKids programs are running an art contest for all students in Tacoma in grades K-8. Children are asked to illustrate which of the 5 Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle, respect and responsible) is most important to you and your family. Create posters showing how they use that “R” in school, at home or in their neighborhood.

The entry form can be downloaded from www.cityoftacoma.org/envirokids. Prizes will be awarded to the top three entrants in three categories. Entries must be postmarked by April 2.
