Historic Tacoma Public Meeting Thursday

The public is invited to attend the next Historic Tacoma meeting, Thursday, November 30, 7-8:30pm, at the downtown Tacoma Public Library, 1102 Tacoma Avenue South.  We’ll discuss our advocacy work to date and how you can become more involved as a member of Historic Tacoma. Noted preservationist, Michael Sullivan will speak on “Improbable Tacoma: the unlikely events and remarkable characters behind the shape of Tacoma today.”

Michael is a founding member of Historic Tacoma, heads Artifacts Consulting, and teaches at the University of Washington Tacoma. He previously served as President of the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation and as the Historic Preservation Officer for the City of Tacoma.

Look at that timing… Pure coincidence, but this is perfectly timed so you can go to the tree lighting at the Pantages before the meeting.  Join us.
