Holistic Forgeworks and R. R. Anderson

Once upon a time, several months ago at least, we ran across the website of cartoonist, animator, and webmaster R. R. Anderson at HolisticForgeworks.com.  It stunned us.  We clicked and fumbled through the site.  We read the biography of the “company founder” and the other “employees.”  We watched animations, studied drawings, and learned how to build a forge.  Then, Mr. Anderson would occasionally comment on Exit133 and a few other websites in Tacoma’s blogroll.  What did we begin to learn?  He thinks different from you and I.  There’s the creative class and there’s the creative class.  I won’t pretend to understand some of his work or his comments, but folks like this keep our world interesting and I like it.

Mr. Anderson recently spoke at the Cartoonists Northwest Association July meeting.  It wasn’t on our calendar so we missed it.  Today we received an email telling us that his presentation is online and it’s narrated.  Here it is… our chance to get into the mind of an enigmatic cartoonist and webmaster.  I watched the whole thing and… well, I won’t pretend to understand him any more than before.  Check it out.  I suspect we’ll hear more from Mr. Anderson in the future.

I’m guessing you meant extraordinaRILY excited? What the hell happened to this blog? It used to be thoughtful and well written. Now, just….I don’t know. This is just sort of sad.

Sounds fun. I’ll be attending that event when it rolls in to T-Town. Hopefully, PT still has some buses in service so I can get there easily.

Ella are you referring to wm Riley real estate or something? Could you help us dullards understand your point? Probably misspelled dullards but I’m too lazy to look it up.
