Hotrod-A-Rama Starts Today
The Sixth Annual Hot Rod-a-Rama start today at the Swiss and runs through tomorrow. Live music. Vintage dragsters. Rat rods. Hotrods. Vintage bicycles. Amazing people watching. If you one of the many many people that went last year, you know how sweet an event this is. Metro Coffee, just down the steps, runs a simultaneous gathering of vintage bicycles. There’s no official bike-o-rama tomorrow, but it’s still cool to ride to see the cars and drink some coffee. I’ll probably be rolling out on the vintage steel Phillips. Get out the camera and check it out. We’ll see you there.

Broadway Investors filed plans with the city several months ago to build the two additional stories. It would be a nice addition, as Broadway has become a popular business address as of late due to the lack of new office space downtown. Recent arrivals include Kompan and the USGS. There certainly seems to be a market for it, and no one can seem to get new office space to pencil…so downtown can use as much new space as it can get.
With more office workers downtown, we might just be able to create that urban environment Russell craves so badly.
