How Tacoma Came to Be Named "America's Gayest City"
For those of you who were curious about just how The Advocate magazine came to rank Tacoma as America’s gayest city, over the weekend, NPR interviewed Advocate editor, Matthew Breen for a little insight.

The interview (and the associated article) explains some of the criteria used, and the intent behind the rankings, how we achieved our high “per capita gayness,” along with some reactions from a handful of Tacomans, including sweet pea from King’s Books.
