Hustler Hollywood Not Pleasing Neighbors
So it would appear that Hustler Hollywood’s freeway frontage and glass windows are getting a bit too much attention. Unlike it’s quiet peer across the freeway, the Castle Superstore, Hustler Hollywood has attracted the ire of the neigbhorhood. The question being raised is how much of the store is ‘adult’ versus regular retail. If it’s less than 50%, then the existing permit is fine and the location is legal. If it’s more than 50%, Hustler Hollywood would be forced to move or close. Of course, what counts as ‘adult’ seems to be challenging some folks.
From this morning’s New Takhoman:
Add Council Woman Connie Ladenburg to the mix with, “I’m not at all pleased with this. What is this going to mean for our community? Adult use is not a use that I want in our neighborhoods. I’m very frustrated.â€
Here we though Connie was a Democrat and not a Right Christian wing nut.
Exit133 field trip time? Do we need to do a little recon?

I too have been to the Carver County fair! (Yep, that’s a MN version of a high-5). Puyallup fair compared to the MN fair: At the Puyallup there’s no machinery hill and why it’s held after the guaranteed summer month is over is beyond me. Now, if they started bringing back the tractor pulls, I’d reconsider attending!
