Inauguration Festivities for Jan 20th

So we’ve been hearing about inauguration day parties and celebrations. I don’t know about you, but I never considered inauguration day on par with new years. However, this year we’ve been getting invitations for private and public parties that sound distinctively … well, rockin’.

So here’s one public one that we know of:

The Swiss
They’ll be throwing a party featuring the Disclaimers for live music. “Tuxedos to t-shirts. Tiaras to tennis shoes.” No cover charge, party starts at 6 pm, 21 and over.

Any others? Are you hosting a little shindig?

Update
The day is upon us. There are many choices for anyone wishing to view a rebroadcast of the inauguration. The Red Hot. PSP. The Swiss. Tempest. Crown Bar. And Cork! Join the crowd and party. It’s a new day.

The Red Hot will be showing inauguration stuffs on our big screen when we open the doors at 11am, and continuing into the night.

It’s also $2 Tuesday, so you can nosh 2-buck Red Hots and 2-buck pints (OR 8 DOLLAR PITCHERS) of a rotating craft beer handle all day long. Time for (spare) Change, indeed.
