Iron Chef Tacoma - Monday

On Monday, just a few days away, Executive Chef Joe Mertens of Asado/Masa will face off against Executive Chef Jaron Witseo of Sofia Bistro/Mandolin Cafe in an Iron Chef style event to support victims of domestic violence. Each chef will be challenged with a black box of mystery ingredients. The chefs will have one hour to prepare a four course meal for the “celebrity” judges. The winner of this competition will claim the coveted Urban Gourmet – Iron Chef Tacoma title.

There will be wine tasting, food, door prizes, and swag bags for the audience.

Tickets are $75 and all net proceeds will be donated to Tacoma’s Family Justice Center.
