It's Transit Month!
Downtown On the Go has a lot going on for Transit Month, including (but not limited to) free ORCA cards, and what sound like some fun group rides.
If you’ve been feeling guilty about not at least giving the bus a try as a commuting option, or if it’s just been a while, this is definitely the month to give public transportation a try. With a couple of group commute times, a lunch hour ride from Commerce Street to the lovely Rosewood Cafe (we recommend the ham and brie sandwich), and an after work “social hour” ride up Sixth Ave, this could be fun.
But, if fun isn’t your thing, Downtown On the Go has you covered with their October 20th presentation of the very latest on the Pacific Avenue Streetscape Project. Although, if there’s anything we like more than free stuff and public transportation, it’s streetscape design projects.
