Jubelale Art Tour at the Swiss

Once upon a time, I used to spend many a winter evening hanging with friends in one of our local pubs as the Jubelale came out. It was a beer that was greeted with excitement and, often, someone would end up singing a song – or at least a sea shanty – at our table.

Now we learn there’s an artistic side to Jubelale:

For over 15 years, Jubelale Lovers have enjoyed the art on the outside of the bottle almost as much as the art inside of the bottle. Each year, a different Northwest artist has designed a winter-inspired label to adorn this festive holiday ale. This year, Deschutes is taking all of the Jubelale art on tour. This event will showcase a full line-up of Jubelale art from throughout the years, as well as tastings of the 2009 Jubelale.

Sounds good to us.

I’m with Joeski. Why can’t they sell all these “winter” beers all year round. It’s only hot for 2 weeks here in Washington.

BTW – I don’t care what they do to the outside of the bottle. I’m interested in the Inside.

yeah- and it’s overwhelming to have 50 different winter beers to have to drink in 4 months!

Who has the largest selection of winter beers on tap in Tacoma? I’m on a mission now.
