Here’s something for your weekend. It’s completely unrelated to parking, Nick Lachey, the Luzon Building, The Winthrop, and anything else Tacoma. You’ve been warned.
But S 37th and K isn’t Central District. That would be the Lincoln area of South End. There are some good deals in the South End, as well as some bad areas.
The style of the second house is “Tudor Revival,” which falls under the category of “eclectic revivals.” There were quite a few houses of this style built in Tacoma 1920-1935. I have one myself, so I notice them when driving around town.
I understand there are 100-200 homes every week at the 10AM Friday Pierce County foreclosure auction (W side of the City-County Bldg). Most are reverting back to the lenders with no bids above the minimum.
