The Kalakala - Stuck in Limbo

With the fate of the Kalakala still uncertain, we’re continuing to see coverage of the endangered ferry from news sources all over the region. Yesterday’s story from National Public Radio reminded us again of a great old news reel of the ferry in its glory days, so we thought we’d take the opportunity to share that with you too.

The mysterious billionaire to whom the Kalakala was reportedly sold last month for $1 has yet to come forward, and the Kalakala website doesn’t offer any hints.
