Kickstart Infinite Soups

As far as cool-per-square-foot ratios go in Tacoma, Infinite Soups is pretty high up there. The little tiny storefront around the corner from the Grand Cinema serves up cups, quarts, and pints of soups that don’t skimp on originality or flavor. There’s something for everyone, and if you’re a regular, you’ve probably got a list of favorites.

Now the little soup shop is considering opening a second location – and they’re asking for a little support – on Kickstarter.

Okay, So here’s the deal……. A couple of months ago we got approached about opening a second location in The Main Post Office in Downtown Tacoma. Potential New Hot Spot of Art! We went down there and took a tour ( Super Cool! Secret passageways! New home of SOTA, Artists lofts! ) and were shown a space that we really like. It looks like a sweet spot to us. It faces out onto 12th ST. directly across from the Wells Fargo building. The owners are doing the build out, They’re putting seating in both inside and out, and offered a fair rent. We’d love to do this. But we don’t have enough money for all the equipment, utensils, permits. We’ve got a budget for this project and we need some community support to make this happen.

With 28 days to go, the campaign has raised $1,432 of its $5,300 goal. Cool bonuses for supporting the Infinite Soups campaign include bowls of soup, delivered lunches, and a limited edition t-shirt. Mmmm, soup.
