King of Methlehem and Dems Fundraiser on May 29th

Mark Lindquist is many things. Deputy Prosecutor. Drug Unit Team Chief. Author of The King of Methlehem. But this Thursday night he will be hosting a fundraiser for the Pierce County Democratic Party. King’s Books will be the scene for Dems of all kinds. U.S. Rep Adam Smith, former County Exec and Gov. Booth Gardner, Prosecutor Gerry Horne, and Party Chair Nathe Lawver are co-sponsoring the evening, and are expected to be in attendance. There will be political talk, literary talk, lots of good local gossip, and Lindquist will be reading from and signing copies of the The King of Methlehem – which came out in paperbook a couple weeks ago… and mentions Exit133 on page 33.

The suggested donation to the Democratic Party is $15.00. Oh, the Harmon is donating a couple of kegs.

    Mr. Eric,
I do not understand your reference to “Kool-Aid.”

My limited internet skills continually pull up a giant pitcher with arms and legs that likes to say “Oh- YEAH!”.

I think I am going to go. Last time, Mark had some sound to go along with his reading. It really created the atmosphere.
