Kudos to NSHDscott and Wallflower Photo

From time to time we’ve given a shout out to some of our commenters when they’ve done cool things. It’s a good reminder that y’all have lives, careers, and families. You remember them, right?

So, we have this commenter named NSHDScott that tends to have some opinions about streetcars and the Russell Company… and plenty more. Well, it just so happens, his company, Wallflower Photography, was just recognized with an Accolade of Excellence from the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) professional association during the 16×20 print competition held at its annual convention in Las Vegas, March 12–20.

Laura Schoeggl and her husband/business partner Scott participated in the conference that included more than 10,000 wedding photographers. Laura’s winning image, “Into the Light, Soon to be Night,” was shot at the June 2007 wedding of Tanya Almazan and Jordan Omley at the Golf Club at Newcastle.

Just before the WPPI conference, Scott received international recognition of his work with two new wins in the latest Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) contest.

We had no idea… Congratulations!

Congrats to Laura and Scott! Awesome to see Wallflower come along over the years… it’s my default recommendation for wedding photography in the area!

I had no idea either! Great streetcar letter to the editor, BTW.
