Last Day of the Sea Kayak Symposium
We completely forgot about the Sea Kayak Symposium this weekend. It’s not too late for you! We made it last year and had a great time checking out the boats and speaking with other kayaking enthusiasts. The event takes place at Owen Beach in Point Defiance. Today, there will be classes and presentations from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Then, it’s gone until next year. Get outside and enjoy the… occasional sunbreaks.
An event Day Pass is required.

Traffic Allert: There is a little paving project happening today in the Wright Park neighborhood on 6th Ave between M Street and MLK Jr Way, so expect a back-up or two if you are approaching the Park heading east on 6th. (I believe all is well on Division though.)
