Learn About Cloth Diapers on Feb 23rd
This info doesn’t really help us but if you are expecting a baby, you may find this interesting. Wai Baby is a new store at Thea’s Landing and will be holding a free information class on cloth diapers at the Wheelock Library in Proctor. According to Hillary Ryan, owner, “getting information on cloth diapering options was almost impossible. Searching the web, I found myself wandering aimlessly.” She has since launched the store and website to help parents have a lighter impact on the environment with their children.

We’ve been using cloth diapers for four years, and the hardest part is just committing to do it. It would have been nice to go to a class like this when we got started.
Note: Even if you’re using disposables, flush the poop – don’t send it to the landfill!

we tried cloth for a long time with a great but expensive diaper service. we ended up with twice the dirty laundry – lots and lots of baby blowouts.

It seems odd that they are putting this is Theas landing where there are almost no babies.
I am glad to see retail filled in my building, but seems like an odd choice.

I’m just really wondering what’s to “learn” ? Get baby, put on diaper, change when soiled….
I think I learned this when I was a little little girl. Or is this a lecture about the moral responsibility of cloth diapers? hey, I love small business, or dirty business, doing your business or something.

Who said anything about a kid? I find cloth diapers quite comfortable.

Had me worried there for a minute. I just kept thinking poor kid will be starting kindergarten this year and how embarrissing if he/she comes to school crappin their pants wearing a cloth diaper.
