LIFT List Not Actually Final ...

Wake up, everybody! I’m sure you’re still drowning your sorrows after we all discovered that the State was passing up Tacoma’s LIFT application. But now it gets more complicated.

One of our friends in Olympia mentioned over the evening that the State of Washington has discovered a “data entry error” in the scoring for the LIFT applications.

Based on this new information, Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB) staff and Board members are in the process of reviewing the scoring and a special meeting of CERB will be scheduled to review the awards.

We’ll un-strike that $11 million line item for now. Pen at the ready.
