Little Holland To Close

A few times over the last couple of years we’ve noted the changes at the corner of Center and Orchard Streets – and wondered what would happen to Little Holland and its burgers. Well, the TNT is now reporting that the owners will close the iconic burger joint on Saturday, July 25th. The business is for sale at $145k … This could be your chance to become Tacoma’s next King or Queen of Frozen Custard.

I would turn it into a bar. There’s no good place to get a decent pour outside of Cheney Stadium for at least a good 3 miles.

How is it that I’ve never heard of said establishment before?

    Perfect location for a McDOnalds/Starbucks!

Is there a drive thru capability there?

Good suggestions – there’s already a Starbucks AND a MacDonald’s on the same block! And they’re selling the biz but I don’t think it includes the location, looking at the sign that’s up on the storefront. A developer wiped out the old buildings on the parcel and is putting up a brand new retail/commercial space now. LOVED the Mikey Burgers, can’t imagine the entrance to Fircrest without Little Holland….

I haven’t had it many years, but they made the best Turkey sandwich….
