Lunchtime Lectures at UWT

UWT is offering two lectures in the near future for anyone wishing to come back from their lunch break a little smarter. It’s a great chance to learn about cutting-edge research and environmental activities of our region. The two lectures are:

  • Nov. 17: Peter Selkin, a UW Tacoma geologist in the Environmental Science program, will talk about early Earth and its magnetic field.

  • Dec. 1: Elise Ralph, assistant vice chancellor for sponsored research at UW Tacoma, will talk on the dynamics of thin oceanographic jets.

I feel smarter just reading about it.
