Maria Jost at Black Water

Our favorite coffee place, our office away from the office, is hosting an opening reception tonight. The walls are almost always adorned with interesting art. Currently Maria Jost has loaned her art to the cafe.

The artist statement says:

All are invited to view a “Storytale” lived and painted by Tacoma artist Maria Jost. Twelve collage-infused ink and watercolor paintings on the walls of Black Water Cafe tell a story open to viewer interpretation and embellishment. Come drink some coffee, meet
the characters and read what you will.

Sounds fun to us.
