Market on Market Grand Opening

There’s an exciting new opportunity to shop local coming your way. Smooth & Juicey on Market Street, which we already love for their fresh fruit and veggie smoothies, is expanding well beyond beverages.
Market on Market “Tacoma’s first year-round community market,” will showcase the goods of local producers, many of whom you’ll recognize from Tacoma’s farmers’ markets. The grand opening flyer invites you to experience the best our town has to offer, and to “Reconnect with a way of living long absent from our local landscape.
The idea is simple; not everyone can make it to the farmers’ market to get their fresh and local goodies, and local and cottage producers can always use a little more exposure and opportunity to market their products. Some of the items will be static, others will change regularly; the list right now includes some delectable favorites.
- Libertine Sea Salts
- Fingerprint Confections caramels and sauces
- Bliss gluten free no bake balls
- Babbling Babs spices
- Jeff’s Washington ice cream
- Mad Hat Tea
- Madrona Coffee
- Gageby and Calendula Farms will provide meat and eggs
- Back Country cheeses
- Purdy and Lynnae’s pickles
- Organic produce weekly boxes by Terra and Tiny’s organics
- Maybe Terry’s Berries
- Also some farmers from the market will off-load miscellaneous items weekly
With the departure of Market Street Coffee, Smooth & Juicey has stepped up, and is offering Madrona Coffee for those of us hooked on caffeine. With the assortment of products Market on Market promises to add, we have even more reason to make a regular stop there.
We are excited to become a community space where conversation and artistry are fostered. Smooth & Juicey is now opened up for coffee, and has lots more seating, so we expect this to be quite a hub for downtown.
