Market Street to be Closed for Paving

Seems like the BLID is moving right along.

On Wednesday, Nov. 5, Market Street, from 9th to 7th Street, is scheduled to be closed from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. The closure, which is part of phase two of the Broadway Local Improvement District (BLID) project, is necessary for pave work to be completed. St. Helens Avenue from Market Street to Opera Alley will also be closed for paving during this time.
There will be no traffic allowed on Market or St. Helens while the paving is underway; detour signs will be in place to redirect traffic through the area. The paving will be completed at night in an effort to help mitigate the impact for local commuters.

It’ll be nice to get that section finished.

Well I am glad I ride my bike everywhere! Hopefully the sidewalks will still be usable!
