Marlene's Market to Come to Point Ruston

The latest on the Point Ruston development is the announcement that the organic grocer promised as one of the major anchor tenants will be a Marlene’s Market & Deli.

We love Marlene’s, but we have less love for the traffic on 38th Street, so for purely selfish reasons, we are happy to hear that we may have another location soon. And if there’s a grocery store that will be a destination that can draw shoppers from around the area, Marlene’s might just be it.

The new store will be 20,000 square feet – about twice the size of the existing Tacoma location, which means more healthy and organic foods, both grocery and ready to eat. And they’re promising an outdoor seating area overlooking the waterfront. We’ll look forward to it.
