Metro Parks Bus Tours!

This email hit my inbox today:

Join us on a free bus tour designed to acquaint residents with Metro Parks, park improvement bond projects and long-range efforts to plan for its future.

It sounds like fun.  It sounds like a timeshare pitch at the same time, but fun is fun.  “Help me! I’m stuck on the bus!”  Oh, sorry.  Seriously, I like the sounds of this.  This seems like a great opportunity for us average folks to hear first hand where our bond money is going.  To start us out is the “Point Defiance tour” on Wednesday, April 26th.  On the tour we’d see China Lake, Optimist Park, Titlow Park/Pool, Vassault Park, Point Defiance Park, Ruston Way and Les Davis Pier.  Refreshments are served.  Now you’ll go, right?
